A couple of the Metcalfe Models buildings that I got a few weeks ago got finished in the last week.
If I was detail oriented enough that I blended the edges of the cards I’m not sure you’d be able to tell that this is a card stock kit.
Overall the kit was easy to put together, which makes sense since Nissan Huts (or Quonset Huts for those of us in the US) are pretty simple buildings. But my favorite part of these kist is that they are very detailed and I don’t have to do any painting – and I don’t have to ask my wife to paint the building either.
The kit came with the added detail of of chimney which I left off, but overall I think it looks pretty good.
The other kit that I put together is Metcalfe’s Industrial Unit.
This is another kit that went together really well and looks terrific. Plus it came with signs that are snarky which is always a plus in my book….
Since there were extra signs I used them to detail one of the other buildings that I placed a while ago…
