It hasn’t all be new trains at the Centreville RR Museum, there’s been other work going on too.
There’s a new gas station in town! This is another Metcalfe card stock kit – while the station is a bit British other than the MOT signage I think it works well. There’s still a bit of landscaping and additional detail work that I’d like to do with this but the building itself is complete.
I’ve got some pewter cast tires in some generic detail packs from the old layout. I need to paint the tires but I think a few stacks of them around the building will look good.
Also finished is the Museum Ticket Office – the kit is Metcalfe’s N Scale Wooden Pavilion.
I also cleaned up the embankment behind the West Side Yard – that’s the embankment behind the new ticket office. The ground cover isn’t nearly a patchy and I’ve added some new trees from Scenic Express.
